Encapsulated Vitamin C with Liposomal Technology
PassionC is vitamin C encapsulated in a lipid-based capsule with ultrasound technology, absorbed into bloodstream without digestion, and released into individual cells directly.  This will bypass the body's self-regulating mechanism and be able to deliver high dose vitamin C's antioxidant capabilities directly into our cells.

Limitations with oral vitamin C
As vitamin C was injected orally through either food or standard supplement, the absorption rate drops as intake increases.  Excess will be excreted as urine.  The maximum serum concentration is found to be 220 mircromol/L [1].  

However, research shows vitamin C will start to kill cancer cells when the serum concentration reaches 1000 micromol/L [1].  Only IV injection or liposomal vitamin C can reach that level and much higher.
 

What is Liposomal Vitamin C

It is vitamin C encapsulated in small vesicles of phospholipids.   It can be conveniently taken orally as compared to IV Injections for achieving the healing power of high dose vitamin C.

Why is it much better than standard oral Vitamin C

As the liposome (the phospholipid) is absorbed directly into bloodstream as lipid without digestion, the body does not see the vitamin C encapsulated inside.   Hence the serum concentration can reach much higher than the maximum 220 micromol/L [1] without being regulated by the kidney.   When serum concentration is over 1000 micromol/L, Vitamin C becomes toxic to cancer cells. [1]  IV Vit C can reach plasma concentration of 15,000 mM/L and liposomal vitamin C can go beyond that if needed.

How is it absorbed by the body

As almost all body cell membranes are made of phospholipids just like the liposome, the liposome can quickly "connect" with the cell and release its encapsulated Vitamin C into the cell. It is like a Trojan Horse sent to our cells to the rescue!

How does it compare to IV Vitamin C

According to Dr Thomas Levy, liposomal vitamin C is five to ten times more potent than injected intravenously.
That is 1 gram orally can be equivalent to 5-10 gram injected IV.

How does Vitamin C kill cancer cells

Cancer cells actively take up vitamin C, possibly mistaken it for glucose as they share similar moleclular structure.  At high concentration, it becomes pro-oxidant and produces hydrogen peroxide which eventually kills the cancer cells from the inside out.
