Since 2017, we have been on a journey to create delicious and healthy gluten-free bread, experimenting different recipes from scratch. From baked bread to steamed buns, our creation has been loved by many of you <3
Now in 2024, after many failures and endless testing, we have finally crafted our very first gluten-free sourdough toast!
We culture our very own sourdough starter with naturally gluten-free grains and do not use any commercial yeast. This is a bread for all to enjoy!

*All toast are pre-sliced. Each loaf has 10 slices.
Benefits of Sourdough
Flavour
Our sourdough bread has a distinct tangy flavour due to the natural fermentation process. The long fermentation time (at least 16 hours) allows for the development of a more complex taste!
Nutrient Absorption
Sourdough fermentation reduces phytates, which can inhibit the absorption of minerals.
Minerals like iron, magnesium and zinc may be more bioavailable in sourdough bread to support a stronger immune system.
Gut Health
There are lots of beneficial bacteria during fermentation. Although they died off during baking, they can serve as a good source of prebiotics for better gut health.
Blood Sugar Management
Sourdough bread has a generally lower glycemic index than conventional white bread.
The fermentation process changes the structure of carbohydrates and the presence of lactobacilli during fermentation helps break down sugars.
Also, our sourdough bread is made with whole grains like quinoa, amaranth, black rice, buckwheat, which are higher in fiber than refined flour. Higher fibre content helps to slow down digestion and absorption of carbohydrates.

Our sourdough is crafted from a blend of naturally gluten-free whole grain flours, including black rice, quinoa, amaranth, sorghum and buckwheat, providing a wealth of essential nutrients, vitamin B complex. vitamin E and minerals such as iron, magnesium and zinc.
Black rice which is rich in anthocyanins, magnesium and iron gives our bread a beautiful purple color!

Rich in anti-oxidants and anti-inflammatory properties, our sourdough is good to support healthy skin health and cell regeneration.

Storage & Consumption Method:
Thaw in the fridge (0-4C) and consume within a week. Reheat before each consumption.
Or keep in the freezer (-18C) and take slices out each time as you consume. Reheat the slices before consumption.
